Having Trouble Finding Canon PFI-306 or PFI-706 Inks? Here’s Why.

Having Trouble Finding Canon PFI-306 or PFI-706 Inks? Here’s Why.

If you’re running a Canon imagePROGRAF iPF8300, iPF8300S, iPF8400, iPF8400S, iPF8400SE, iPF9400, or iPF9400S, you may have noticed that Canon PFI-306 and PFI-706 inks are becoming increasingly difficult to find.

There’s a reason: Canon has discontinued the PFI-306 and PFI-706 LUCIA EX ink cartridges. As remaining Canon inventory is depleted, certain colors and cartridge sizes will become harder to source.

The good news is that you don’t have to retire a perfectly good printer just because the original Canon inks are disappearing.

Looking for a PFI-306 or PFI-706 Replacement Ink?

STS offers replacement PFI-306 330 mL and PFI-706 700 mL ink cartridges designed as plug-and-play replacements for the original Canon inks.

There’s no need to flush your ink system or make complicated changes to your printer. The inks are formulated as a virtual color match to the original Canon LUCIA EX inks, allowing you to transition from Canon cartridges while continuing to use your existing color profiles.

And this isn’t a new company jumping into replacement inks. STS has been manufacturing inks for more than 30 years, with extensive experience developing professional ink solutions for wide-format printers.

For shops with a Canon imagePROGRAF that’s still producing great work, it’s a simple solution: keep the printer you already own and switch to a proven, readily available PFI-306 or PFI-706 replacement ink.
